Blueprint - a great way to start 2014!

The Cocoa Daisy January kit is called Blueprint and I love the combination of papers from Crate, Webster's Pages, October Afternoon, Chic Tags, and more. Combined with Cocoa Daisy exclusives, such as stamps, wood veneers and fabulous papers designed by Stephanie, this is another truly versatile and fun kit signed Christine!

Here is what I've created so far... first out a layout about Tuva trying some candy for the first time. I used the typewriter stamp - love it - as well as one of the bubbles in the Bird Bubbles stamp set. I mostly used the main kit, but also some bits from the DITL kit and from the patterned paper add on.

For my next layout I used the main kit, the Drawing Board add on (love the journaling cards!) and the "DEC" stamp and the arrow stamp from the DITL kit.

My third layout is about when Tuva met Pippi Longstocking at daycare...=) She was pretty excited and happy, and then got a bit shy after I captured this photo. I used some watercolours from the December Project Art kit for my background.

Julrea hos Pyssloteket, mm...

Christmas cards!

It's not too late... there is still time to put together some simple Christmas cards! :) I used Spellbinder's dies, Distress Paint Brushed Pewter, the super cute wood veneer stars, my sewing machine and some messy thread for this simple card! The supplies can be found at Pyssloteket.

For my second card I used Liquitex Ceramic Stucco, Distress Stain and Glimmer Glam for my background, and some more messy thread together with die cut stars and the Brushed Pewter Distress Paint. I also sprinkled some clear UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) over the stars and melted the enamel with my heat gun.

I think the matte Black Soot Distress Paint on top of the Brushed Pewter paint looks really cool on my next card, but I am not sure who would be a suitable recipient for this card. :)

I sprinkled Chalkboard Glimmer Mist Chalk over my background on this card.

More from Home Again...

Here are a couple of more layouts made with the Cocoa Daisy December kit, Home again.

When I took the photo for this first layout I was out walking with Tuva in the stroller, in order to get her to fall asleep and take her very much needed nap. Buuuut... she doesn't look like she is sleeping, does she? :)

I loved working with the Maya Road chipboard letters, included in the main kit!

Look at these happy faces, after winning on the chocolate wheel... :)

Home Again...!

The Cocoa Daisy December kit Home Again is up for sale!

It's warm and cozy kit and I love the papers designed by Stephanie, the fun embellishments and the fab stamps!

Here is the main kit:

Cozy nights add on... I love the Dear Lizzy die cut card set and all the fun chipboard pieces from Teresa Collins.

Family Time add on... the Lily Bee word stickers in white are a favourite here!

Day in the Life kit... sigh... LOVE the stamps and the cards and... everything! :)

Project Art... I'm so excited about this watercolour set...! Perfect for putting in my handbag and bringing with me!

Here are a couple of the layouts I've made with this kit so far. I love this photo of the three of them, walking together on our way home.

I mostly used the Cozy nights add on for this one. I love my crazy family!

I painted the "our family" with Glimmer Glam.
